Taylor Burke Gilman
President of Gear Wash
As the youngest daughter of Chairman and Owner Bill Burke, Taylor joined the Fire-Dex Family in January 2019 as our Customer Relations Manager. Quickly after, in August 2019, she became Division Manager of Gear Wash, where she confidently led the onboarding of two acquisitions for Gear Wash in Milwaukee and Hudson, granting her the promotion to Director of Gear Wash in 2021 and eventually President of Gear Wash in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications and a Master of Science in Business Management from the University of Florida.
Director of Business Development
Brian joined Gear Wash as our Director of Business Development in 2017 and is responsible for implementing PPE clean and repair programs to enhance the health and safety of our customers across all ten locations.
Business Development & Military Contract Manager, Dayton
Nick joined Gear Wash in 2021 as our NFPA 1851 Support Specialist and earned the promotion to Business Development & Military Contract Manager in 2022 to assist new and existing United States Air Force customers with their PPE cleaning and repair services at our six facilities. He also manages our PPE rental program on the East coast. Nick graduated from Columbia Southern University with an Associate degree in Fire Science.
Business Development Manager, Hudson
Whitney joined Gear Wash in June 2021 as the Business Development Manager and works on developing regional relationships with new and existing customers. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication and Hospitality from the University of Central Florida.
Business Development Manager, West Coast
Misty joined Gear Wash in 2017 as Operations Supervisor at our Denver location. Due to her hard work, Misty was promoted in 2024 to Business Development Manager for our western region. Misty is responsible for working with existing and new customers for our Denver and Las Vegas locations.
Content Marketing Specialist
Emma joined Gear Wash in 2023 as our Content Marketing Specialist and is responsible for content strategy, social media, and events. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Digital Media from Longwood University.
HR Business Partner
Elizabeth began at Gear Wash in 2012 as the Accounting & HR Administrator and in 2022, transitioned to the role of Human Resources Business Partner. Elizabeth assists with recruiting, associate relations, HR administration, strategic streamlining initiatives, and various HR functions and projects. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Buenaventura in Industrial Engineering and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Quality and Safety Coordinator
Cory joined Gear Wash in 2022 as the Quality and Safety Coordinator to oversee and streamline operational processes and procedures and be responsible for the safety and continuous improvement of each facility. Cory is an excellent team leader with a demonstrated history in training tactics and is successful with delivering projects in full compliance with operational objectives.
Liz Holecek joined Fire-Dex and Gear Wash in December 2022 and is responsible for accounting and financial analysis with a heavy focus on Gear Wash locations. This includes day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and forecasting. Liz attended the University of Dayton and graduated with a degree in Accounting and received her MBA from John Carroll University.
Regional Operations Manager
Anthony is one of the main contributors to the ever-improving Gear Wash tracking software and has been instrumental in the growth of our Hudson, FL location. His respected leadership skills and dedication earned Anthony the promotion to Gear Wash Regional Manager in 2022. Then in 2023, Anthony was promoted to Regional Operations Manager.
Regional Operations Manager
Niki joined Gear Wash in 2020 as our Operations Supervisor responsible for managing work procedures, associate training, and overseeing all customer needs or concerns. In 2023, Niki was promoted to Regional Operations Manager. She has a bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Dayton.
REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Raven began at Gear Wash in 2018 and is an Operations Supervisor at our Memphis location. Raven is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, associate scheduling, and communication with the Memphis Fire Department. She is excellent at maintaining an efficient workflow and trains all new associates on internal systems and repairs.
Operations Supervisor, Miami
Bo Sanchez began at Gear Wash in 2013 as our Operations Supervisor. He is responsible for associate hiring, and training, and supervises the day-to-day operations within the facility. Bo is also the direct liaison with the customers we help service.
Operations Manager, New York City
Karina joined Gear Wash in 2019 as an Office Assistant, then was promoted to Office Administrator in April of 2021. After 5 months of Gear Wash acquisition and her continued hard work, Karina was quickly promoted again to Operations Manager of our New York location.
Operations Manager, Las Vegas
Katie joined Gear Wash in 2014 as a Seamstress, where her efficiencies and focus earned her the promotion to Repair Supervisor in 2016. She has also assisted with the development of the PPE tracking system as the Project Manager. Since 2018, she has held the role of Operations Manager, where she ensures all production activities are safely followed.
Operations Supervisor, Charlotte
Leslie joined Gear Wash in 2015 as our Customer Service Representative and in 2021 she earned the promotion to Operations Supervisor to monitor department efficiencies and keep processes running smoothly from beginning to end.
Operations Supervisor, Milwaukee
Brian joined Gear Wash as a sewer in 2020. Since his promotion in 2023, brian oversees our Milwaukee location's day-to-day operations, manages associates, and communicates directly with our customers.
Taylor joined Gear Wash in January of 2021. He oversees and streamlines Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) and processes between Fire-Dex and Gear Wash locations. He also communicates with Gear Wash locations and Fire-Dex customer service to gather information and share clear expectations and details regarding returned goods
Quality & Production Manager, Hudson
James joined the Gear Wash Family in 2017. In his role of Quality & Production Manager, James is responsible for managing all mobile operations from scheduling housing, to coordinating with fire departments in regard to their annual PPE maintenance. He also oversees the receiving and gear returns process in house.
Facility Supervisor, Las Vegas
Alyssa joined Gear Wash in 2014 as an Order Fulfillment Technician, where her eye for detail quickly earned her the promotion to Order Fulfillment Lead in 2016. Due to her dedication to quality assurance, Alyssa earned the role of Facility Supervisor in 2018.
